Lila knew she should be studying for her finals, but she couldn't resist the temptation of binge-watching her favorite show. She had ordered some sushi rolls from the Chinese place across the street and settled in her bed with her laptop and chopsticks. She was so engrossed in the drama unfolding on the screen that she didn't hear her phone ringing.

It was her boyfriend, calling to check on her. Rob knew Lila had been stressed out lately and wanted to cheer her up. He had bought some flowers and chocolates and was waiting outside her apartment. He tried calling her again, but still no answer. He decided to surprise her and use his spare key to get in.

Rob opened the door quietly and walked towards Lila's bedroom. Rob smiled when he saw Lila lying on her stomach and facing the foot of her bed. She looked so cute and relaxed, he thought. He tiptoed closer and saw that she was eating sushi rolls with chopsticks and watching something on television. He leaned over to see what it was.

Rob's smile faded when he recognized the show. It was the one he hated, the one they always argued about. The one with the handsome actor who played a charming spy who seduced women all over the world. The one she had a crush on.

Rob felt a surge of jealousy and anger. How could Lila watch that show when he was here? How could she ignore his calls when he had brought her gifts? How could she choose that fictional character over him?

Rob's heart sank as he stood there, watching Lila engrossed in the show. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy as he watched her stare intently at the screen. He debated whether to make his presence known or to quietly leave the apartment, but ultimately he decided to confront Lila.

"Hey, Lila," he said, trying to keep his voice calm. Lila jumped at the sound of his voice and turned around to face him.

"Rob, what are you doing here?" she asked, surprised to see him.

"I came to surprise you, but it looks like I'm the one who's surprised," he said, gesturing to the television.

Lila looked down at her laptop and realized what Rob was talking about. "Oh, this? It's just a show. I didn't even realize you were calling," she said, putting her laptop aside.

Rob took a deep breath and tried to control his emotions. "Lila, I just don't understand why you watch that show. It's like you're obsessed with that guy."

Lila looked up at Rob and saw the hurt in his eyes. "Rob, it's just a show. I don't have a crush on the actor. I love you, not him," she said, taking his hand.

Rob looked into her eyes and saw the sincerity in them. He knew Lila loved him, but he couldn't help feeling insecure about their relationship. "I'm sorry, Lila. I guess I just got a little jealous," he said, leaning in to kiss her.

Lila smiled and kissed him back. "It's okay, Rob. I understand. But maybe we should find a show we both like to watch together," she said, grabbing her laptop.

Rob smiled and sat down next to her on the bed. As they searched for a show to watch, he couldn't help feeling grateful for Lila's understanding and love. He knew they had something special, and he was determined to never let jealousy come between them again.

    So was she being honest with him? Is he so insecure that he’s jealous of actors playing fictional characters in movies or TV shows? I wonder how long their relationship will actually last. I don’t hold out much hope. Fandango.
