The Dance of Shifts

"Embracing change as we sway through life's motions."

In response to

Quadrille #172

The world's in motion, never still,
Our lives are a dance, a constant thrill,
We shift and sway, we ebb and flow,
Embrace the change, let go, let go.
With every shift, a chance to grow,
To learn, to love, to feel, to know.

  1. Very nicely done! Change is very difficult for me especially as I age! Perhaps I need to change to your perspective!

//Change is very difficult for me especially as I age!// Change is a constant in life, and it can be especially challenging as we age. Instead of fearing change, we can learn to embrace it as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.
Thank you for your kind words, and I hope that my writing can continue to inspire you to embrace change and live your best life. 😊

    1. Receiving positive feedback is always a joy. Your message has left me feeling inspired and motivated to continue writing, to keep exploring different forms and themes, and to keep striving to create something that resonates with others. I'm pleased to hear that the rhyme scheme I used added an extra layer of beauty to the poem. But what really struck me about the feedback was the acknowledgement of the positive perspective I conveyed in my writing. I felt a sense of pride and gratitude. Thank you, Mish. 😊
