Wonders of the World

In cultures across the world, the owl is wise,
Symbolic of knowledge that few can disguise.
The Nile River flows, longest in the land,
Its waters meandering through golden sand.

Though miracles elude us in the known,
We feel their touch in moments all our own.
Seaweed, a humble plant beneath the sea,
Holds secrets for health, a gift to you and me.

Thunder booms, as lightning strikes the air,
A force of nature that few can compare.
Acorns fall, a bounty for those below,
A feast for squirrels and deer in forest's glow.

Cheddar cheese, so many love to savor,
A taste so rich, our hearts it does favor.
Longing and desire, feelings that we know,
One carries sadness, the other a glow.

A truffle, a treasure that hides in the ground,
Rare and precious, worth much in a pound.
Music fills our ears and touches our soul,
Affecting our brain, making us feel whole.
