Puddle-Wonderful Memories

In yellow shoes and with a playful grin,
She jumps and splashes in the puddles again.
The rain is pouring, the drops tap-dancing,
And the world is alive, in a lively romancing.

With each leap, she sends the water high,
And with each splash, she feels more alive.
The rain is her partner in this sweet ballet,
As she dances and twirls and frolics away.

And when the storm eventually comes to an end,
She'll return home, refreshed and content,
But the memory of this puddle-wonderful time,
Will stay with her, like a sweet nursery rhyme.
