She could always tell when he was lying because his eyes would dart around the room, unable to meet hers. It wasn't something she had learned from a book or a movie, but something that had developed over time, through countless conversations and interactions.

At first, she had dismissed it as her own paranoia, thinking she was reading too much into his body language. But as time went on, she became more certain of her intuition. It was as though his eyes were betraying him, revealing a truth that he wasn't willing to speak.

It was an odd feeling, knowing that someone close to her was lying. She didn't like to think of him as dishonest, but she couldn't ignore the signals her body was sending her. Each time he lied, she felt a pang of disappointment, a sense of betrayal that she couldn't quite shake.

Over time, she tried to approach the situation with compassion, wondering why he felt the need to lie in the first place. Was he afraid of her judgment? Did he think she wouldn't understand? She knew she couldn't force him to be honest, but she hoped that by being patient and kind, she could encourage him to open up in his own time.

As she reflected on these thoughts, she realized that her ability to sense his lies was a gift, a signal that she was attuned to the people in her life. It was a reminder to pay attention to the signals that others were sending, to look beyond their words, and see the truth that lay beneath.

And at that moment, she felt a sense of peace, knowing that even when people lied, she could still trust her own instincts and intuition.
