The Warning Finger of Nature

Amidst the woods, a warning points
A finger from a glove, alone it stands
Perched on a branch, so frail and thin
A gesture to the passersby, a plea to begin

Respect nature, its beauty, and might
Don't cut the trees, don't cause a blight
For every leaf that falls, a life departs
A chain reaction, breaking of the hearts

The forest breathes, it's a living being
Home to many, a source of healing
The trees, the creatures, the soil, the air
A delicate balance, we must all care

So heed the warning, the glove's raised hand
A simple reminder, to protect this land
And when you leave, let it be as it was
Untouched, unharmed, in its natural cause.
